TCT Academy Classes

It isn’t just learning how to sing, dance and act…It’s about gaining confidence, learning life skills and keeping your children active.

TCT Academy offers performing arts instruction from a professional theatre company, introducing children to all elements of live theatre, incorporating educational aspects as well as important life skills and milestones.

Our TCT Educational Team is top-notch, featuring national and world-renowned educators, Broadway and Hollywood performers, and highly-skilled teachers.

Spring Class Offerings:

Musical Theatre Medley

This 7-week course meets once a week for 45-minutes on Zoom
Live training in theatre, dance, and music
Explore a specific show (different shows for each age group)
Students each learn a section of the show to perform their song, dance, and monologue/scene from a musical for their whole family by the end of class.

Musical Theatre Dance

This 7-week course meets once a week for 45-minutes on Zoom
Students will explore musical theatre dance pieces and learn a new 30-second combo each week.
Dance warm-up and cool down during each class.
Strengthening dance knowledge and choreography memorization skills through a variety of styles of dance found in popular musicals.

Drama Club

This 7-week course meets once a week for 45-minutes on Zoom
Students will rehearse a script that can be performed virtually.
A warmup and basic acting techniques will be part of every class.
Students will learn how to build characters and create scenes that they’ll be able to perform for parents and use for auditions!

Living Room Musicals (ages 4-6 + Sensory-Friendly) 4 Videos total – Delivered Bi-Weekly

Bi-weekly option allows for flexibility on when your child has class – no live instruction.
4 pre-recorded videos over the course of the 7-week class.
Teaches the fundamentals of musical theatre from the comfort of home.
Parents will receive an introduction video that will have a Dance Warmup, Basic Dance Steps, Vocal Warmups, and Basic Vocal Knowledge and Skills.
Each video after will have 30 seconds of a song to learn, a 30-second dance combination, monologue, and a printable activity.

TCT AcademyLIVE!

TCT is a professional theatre company and here is when YOU can take the stage. This class combines instruction with the opportunity to perform in a fully-staged musical with props, costumes and sets. Our curriculum combines instruction with “doing,” to best help students internalize and master the theater skills taught. To complement and reinforce the learning process, students will also spend time rehearsing for their production that culminates in public performances.

Auditions are only for students interested in lead roles but all students registered will have a spot in the cast regardless if they decide to audition.

JUNIOR THEATRE FESTIVAL 2021
This is an audition-based group and we will only be casting 30 students ages 9-18. Students will learn and compete with a 15-minute excerpt of an MTI JR. show.

Most online classes are $175 for a 7-week session, but check for class specifics.
TCT Academy is conveniently located on Red Bank Road just off I-71, close to US-50/Columbia Parkway, as well as the Norwood Lateral in our incredible Red Bank space.

Scheduling and Class Size

We hold our classes in 14-week or 7-week semesters throughout the year. The class schedule may change slightly with student participation and/or teacher availability, but the session dates will not.

We like to keep our classes small with a maximum class capacity-15 students. Each class must have a minimum of 5 students to sign up, however, or the class may be canceled for that session. In-Person classes are capped at 9 students.

Tuition Fees Information

The class cost encompasses a 14-week or 7-week session. Individual classes cannot be purchased, except for our special drop-in classes.

Students without payment will not be allowed to participate.

Session fee will not be prorated or refunded for absences

Makeup class vouchers will be given at the discretion of the instructor.
