Celebrate TCT’s 101st season as it comes to a close as we applaud and appreciate those who contributed to the organization’s magic throughout our century-long journey. During 10 weeks of recognition, we honor individuals who have been instrumental in the success of TCT, and who have not only helped TCT grow in mission, but also thrive, thanks to their passion. It is these people and their moments in our history that shaped TCT to become what it is today. We encourage you to consider giving a gift in their honor to ensure the sustainability of TCT’s mission for the next 100+ years.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, Dain Alan Page has been performing with The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati for 20 years. His first TCT production was ANDROCLES AND THE LION in April of 2001. Dain is a veteran of more than 30 TCT productions, which equals about 550 performances!
Favorite TCT roles include Lumiere in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR., Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, and Divine Debris – a Dragon of Some Renown in Rapunzel! Rapunzel! A Very Hairy Fairy Tale.
Fellow cast member, Local 12’s Bob Herzog says performing with Mr. Paige is one of his most memorable TCT moments: “…watching my friend and TCT stalwart, Dain Paige, perform a number called “Human Again” in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast JR. after he had gone through some serious health issues is one of the most moving things I’ve ever seen on stage.”
Mr. Paige has performed with many theatres around town, including Jersey Productions, Showboat Majestic, Kincaid Regional Theatre, NKU Summer Dinner Theatre, Monmouth Theatre and ArtReach Touring Theatre.
Mr. Paige says:
“I remember my first time attending a theatre performance. It was Shakespeare, and I was only six years old. I didn’t understand what was going on within the show; however, I remember being completely mesmerized by the actors, lights, and theatre experience. That is what I love about working with The Children’s Theatre – I get to give children the same experience that I had. I get to be that spark for them, and have a part in their theatre journey. The Children’s Theatre brings magic to kids across the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.”
Would you honor Dain Alan Paige with a gift to recognize the impact made on TCT?
