Real Impact from Your Gifts

“I just want to thank your organization for supporting the homeschool community and making your performances affordable and accessible to so many children, regardless of their families’ educational choices. My boys experienced Elf this afternoon. It was their first time in a theater and I was highly impressed with all involved. They had a great time and are already talking about and looking forward to future performances. Truly- the ability to provide them this experience without a financial burden means a lot to us.”

“I love to watch the children's eyes light up as they watch a live production. I think it is so important to expose children from every demographic to a variety of experiences.”

— TCT MainStage Patron

“The Children's Theatre is the highlight of students' school experiences. From the time that they find out that we are going to a production and beyond, the students are always asking about it. When do we go? What will we see? What is it about? I wonder if there will be lots of dancing and singing. How many children will be performing? They have lasting memories that stay with them far beyond their school days."

— Teacher attending TCT MainStage with students

“We are a full day Kindergarten Class for students needing enrichment. My students most likely would not be able to afford a trip to the theater. The children couldn't stop talking about their experiences. We followed up with their thoughts in their journal - What was your favorite part of the story with illustrations. We were able to pull in the Leader in Me 7 Habits and how they related to the main character’s feelings of not fitting in and wanting to be accepted. It was a wonderful, enriching program for my students. Thank you.”

“I am the Executive Director of Theatre for Young Audiences USA. Through this role, I have been able to interact and collaborate with the Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati. I love children’s theatre because I believe that children are the most open and receptive audience that one can perform for, and theatre gives them a new lens to seeing the world.”

— Jonathan Shmidt Chapman, artist, producer, writer, curator, educator and executive director of Theatre for Young Audiences USA (TYA/USA)

“TCT was a huge part of my childhood and has also impacted who I am today. They taught me work ethic, creativity, imagination, and collaboration both in your roles and in your life. These lessons have crossed over into my adulthood.”

— Morgan Martin, TCT Performer
