Acting Through Song (Ages 13-18) Mondays 4:30pm – 5:30pm

In this class, students will learn songs from a specific show that isn’t considered a “dance” musical to explore how to dramatically sing a staged number and act through a song. This is an excellent class for students that aren’t comfortable with big dance numbers and want to focus on singing strong, powerful songs with a heavy emphasis on acting skills that can assist them in their storytelling.

Additional Information:
This is an in-person class and being such will adhere to all TCT and State COVID-19 guidelines regarding gatherings, PPE, and cleaning standards. TCT is currently a mask OPTIONAL facility. We will be sending an email with any changes to our guidelines ONE WEEK prior to the opening of classes to be sure we are offering the safest experience for all involved. This class does not culminate in a showcase. If the teacher wishes to share video footage of anything specific, they may do so, but it’s not a class expectation. We are focused on providing the best possible training and teaching to the test doesn’t allow our educators to get as deep into the discipline as possible during 10 weeks.
