Miranda Bohannon, TCT Academy Director
Teacher
Miranda Bohannon, TCT Academy Director Miranda grew up as the oldest sibling so it became somewhat second nature to be a leader / teacher; all while ever since she could walk and talk, she wanted to be in the spotlight as a star performer! She grew up babysitting and performing at every chance she got, so she had the dream and the passion to be an actress and a teacher from the very beginning. Miranda is honored to be “living the dream job” here at TCT specifically to share her passion of musical theatre to young people. She received her Bachelor of Arts Communication degree, with a Specialization in Musical Theatre Performance from Bowling Green State University. In her time at BGSU she gained training and experience working at two daycare / preschool centers. Miranda went on to be a performer in children theatre productions at Cedar Point Amusement Park, was a full-time nanny through the pandemic, and gained training and experience working at Learning Grove as a preschool teacher in a Montessori style classroom. Miranda also previously taught early childhood dance classes at The Dance Coalition. You may remember her from before our in-person shut down when she taught classes, voice lessons, and summer camps part time here at TCT! Miranda is currently building up our 18month – 3 years old curriculum and the classes we offer in our Academy. She continues to receive new training and is gaining certifications to teach new styles of early childhood classes. She likes to stay up to date herself; she will forever be a student. Her foundational thought to her teaching philosophy is, “How much can I love these students with the time I have with them?” Her goals are to create a safe environment for students to explore, experience, and enjoy! She is a proud educator who shares her love of theatre arts to her students, and to the families who support them.
