Musical Theatre Medley (Ages 10-12) Sundays 11:30am – 12:30pm
This class is prorated and runs for 7 weeks.
Put dance, voice, and drama all together to work on an excerpt of a musical. Students will learn how to combine the three disciplines of musical theatre, as well as rehearsal etiquette, audition technique and character study. It is recommended that students have completed a voice, drama or dance class prior to taking this course.
This class does not culminate in a showcase. If the teacher wishes to share video footage of anything specific, they may do so, but it’s not a class expectation. We are focused on providing the best possible training and teaching to the test doesn’t allow our educators to get as deep into the discipline as possible during 10 weeks. We have plenty of opportunities to perform throughout the year for ages 6 – 18. Please check the AcademyLIVE! offerings for upcoming opportunities.

Miranda has received training and her teaching certificate for Postnatal Yoga classes from Awakened Spirit Yoga. Which can be used for yoga classes and “mommy and me” style yoga classes. Miranda likes to stay up to date herself; she will forever be a student. Her foundational thought to her teaching philosophy is, “How much can I love these students with the time I have with them?” Her goals are to create a safe environment for students to explore, experience, and enjoy! She is a proud educator who shares her love of theatre arts to her students, and to the families who support them.
