We can’t wait to welcome you to The Emery Theater in Over-the-Rhine — a beautifully restored historic landmark and the new home of The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati.
Here’s everything you need to know before you load the family in the car on show day.
Before you leave
Check your tickets — make sure they’re for the correct day and time.
Print your tickets or download them to your digital wallet to display on your phone.
Print your Autograph Pass! Every child needs their own Autograph Pass ticket to meet a cast member after the show. Need one?
Subscribers — don’t forget your TCT parking pass (valid for the Kroger 3CDC Garage; see details below). Need one?
Dress comfortably — festive or themed outfits are always welcome! And since this is our opening, feel free to dress up!
Arrive early to explore the newly reimagined theater and snap a few photos before the curtain rises.
Getting to The Emery Theater

Located in the heart of Over-the-Rhine, The Emery sits just north of Central Parkway. Music Hall, Memorial Hall, and Washington Park are fairly close..

Parking

We recommend arriving at least 45 minutes before showtime to allow time for parking and entry.
For Subscribers with TCT parking passes
Your TCT parking pass is valid for the Kroger On-the-Rhine Garage (3CDC) located at:
107 E. Central Parkway which is one block away from The Emery Theater (Photo above)
Enter on Central Parkway. Bring your printed pass with you for smooth entry and exit. Need one?
- Scan your parking pass QR code or ticket barcode upon entrance and exit of the 3CDC Court & Walnut St. Garage to validate your parking. No need to take a ticket!
- The closest elevator to the crosswalk exit is the Central Parkway Elevator, located on the right side of the garage.
Nearby Parking Options
If you don’t have a TCT parking pass, there are several convenient public garages nearby:
- Washington Park Garage (1230 Elm Street) – secure and close to Music Hall
- Ziegler Park Garage (1322 Sycamore Street) – near Main Street dining
- Mercer Commons Garage (1311 Vine Street) – central OTR location
- Court Street Lot (Court & Walnut) – surface lot, limited spaces
- Street Parking – metered spots available along Walnut, Central Parkway, and nearby cross streets
- Please note the surface lot in between Walnut Street and Jackson Street (directly across from the entrance of The Emery Theater) has VERY strict hours.
Please note: Parking may be more limited during FC Cincinnati, Bengals, or other major downtown events.

Make a full day of your TCT outing! Over-the-Rhine is packed with family-friendly spots for brunch, lunch, or dinner just steps from The Emery Theater.

- On the Rhine Eatery — a family-friendly food hall INSIDE and above the Kroger store featuring local favorites
- Gomez Salsa Cantina (Main Street) – famous for their Turtle Shell tacos

- The Eagle (Vine Street) – southern-style comfort food and fried chicken

Inside the Theater
The Emery has been completely restored and reimagined — take a few moments to look around and enjoy the history and craftsmanship.
Stop by the TCT Merchandise and Concessions areas on the first or second floors for souvenirs and show-themed items, as well as snacks and drinks.
Don’t miss our Hall of History on the second floor!
Concessions are available before, during, and after the show — please note, there is no intermission during TCT MainStage performances.
Please note: Photography, video, and flash are not permitted during the performance.
After the Show:
- Purchase an autograph pass and join the Autograph Line after each performance – in the elevator vestibule on the first level! Remember — every child needs their own Autograph Pass ticket. Need one?
