Honored Warren F. Weber, Regional President, PNC Bank, Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky and Lee Ault Carter, President of The Thomas J. Emery Memorial

The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati (TCT) hosted nearly 200 guests at an exceptional Glass Slipper Gala on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at the Netherland Hilton in downtown Cincinnati. Through sponsorships, guest ticket sales, and a live and silent auction, the event raised close to $140,000 for the nation’s oldest theatre for young audiences.
The organization was honored to present the “Glass Slipper Award” for “Turning the Ordinary into the Extraordinary” to PNC Bank and Mr. Warren F. Weber, Regional President, Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky.
Mr. Weber leads all facets of the bank’s line of businesses, serving consumers and institutions in the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky markets.
Mr. Weber currently serves on the board of directors at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, Cincinnati Business Committee, Cintrifuse, OneNKY Alliance, REDI Cincinnati, Cincinnati Center City Development Corporation (3CDC), and the Freestore Foodbank. In addition, he serves on the Business Advisory Committee at the University of Cincinnati’s Carl H. Lindner School of Business. He is past board president of Easterseals Redwood and Freestore Foodbank, and past member of the local chapter of the Association for Financial Professionals, Association for Corporate Growth and ESOP Association. Mr. Weber has served as a volunteer for the corporate campaigns for ArtsWave and the United Way. In 2013, he was awarded the Civic Leadership Award for his volunteer efforts in the non-profit section. PNC Bank has provided great foundation support for Arts Education through Live Theatre for grades PreK – 1 and many volunteers help usher TCT school productions throughout the season.
Also honored at the event with the “Enchanted Award” was Mr. Lee Ault Carter, President of The Thomas J. Emery Memorial.
Lee Carter and his bride, Shannon, have been supporters of both the arts and children’s activities in Cincinnati for many years. Their arts involvements include the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Cincinnati Institute of Fine Arts (ArtsWave), the Taft Museum of Art, Art Links, and the Cincinnati Arts & Technology Studios. The Carters’ support of children’s organizations includes Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House, Ohio Valley Voices, the Seven Hills School, Crayons to Computers, and MindPeace. Those interests, plus Lee’s leadership of the Thomas J. Emery Memorial Foundation, made a natural fit for getting involved with the very important renovation and revitalization of the Emery Theater where he serves as Co-Chair of “A Crown for the Queen City” Emery Theater Capital Campaign.
This magical night of celebration also included special guest emcee and auctioneer Bob Herzog from Local 12, whose charm and wit made the night extra special and fun, as well as a performance by Juno Brosos and JT Langlas who played Cinderella and her Prince in TCT’s February 2024 production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella: Youth Edition. The event’s co-chairs included John F. Barrett, Leigh Fox, Kay Geiger, Louis Guttman, Colleen Haas, and Jay Rammes.
