23-24 MainStage Ticket Refund and Exchange Policies
Beginning in the 23-24 season, all MainStage and Homeschool subscriptions and single tickets are final sale. Refunds are unavailable.
Exchanges must be requested no later than 24 hours before your scheduled performance day and time.
If you would like to only attend 2 or 3 shows in our 23-24 season, we encourage you to consider our Buy and Save offer.
Oh no! I can no longer attend the show I picked in my subscription package! Can I change it?
- Yes! You can easily change your performance day or time. Subscribers receive one free exchange per production. Fees for additional subscriber ticket exchanges are $5 per transaction. (Subject to availability.)
- Single ticket buyers can also exchange for a $5 per ticket exchange fee/per exchange.
AWESOME! How does it work?
- Email tickets@tctcincinnati.com to request an exchange for a different performance (if available).
- Tickets may only be exchanged for a different performance day and time for the same production. Exchanging tickets for a different production within the season is not permitted. No exceptions.
- Exchanges are unavailable after your performance date has passed.
When should I tell TCT’s Box Office I need to exchange?
Exchanges must be requested no later than 24 hours before your scheduled performance day and time, but earlier is always better.
Recommended exchange deadlines for this season are:
- September 29, 2023 for The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition
- November 21, 2023 for Narnia the Musical
- February 2, 2024 for Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella: Youth Edition
- April 5, 2024 for Disney’s Finding Nemo JR.
Sounds Great! How do I do it?
To exchange your tickets please email tickets@tctcincinnati.com and
include the following information:
1.) Your name
2.) Phone number
3.) Account number (if known)
4.) New date and time of your exchange request
5.) A picture of your tickets
6.) Delivery method for your new tickets: Email or Will Call.
What else should I know?
- When exchanging tickets, you will not receive the same seats as your regular season tickets.
- Once the date on your tickets has passed, the tickets are invalid and cannot be exchanged.
- Exchanges are not applicable for TCT’s streaming content available on Broadway On Demand or Pick-A-Path Interactive.
My family can’t attend any other performances, what should I do?
- Donate the cost of your returned tickets to The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati — they are considered a fully tax-deductible gift and helps cover the cost of tickets for children in low-income and underserved households. Email tickets@tctcincinnati.com to convert your ticket cost to a donation.
- Give the gift of theater to your family members or to friends. If you can’t get your tickets to them, we can print them to pick up at the Taft Theatre Box Office. Email tickets@tctcincinnati.com and just let us know.
- Donate your unused or available tickets and get a tax write-off for your donation with Most Valuable Kids.
What if TCT cancels our performance?
If TCT must cancel a performance, we will make every effort to exchange tickets to another performance day/time. If we are unable to do so, we will then issue a refund.
